After repeatedly promising friends to start a blog and describe my battle with multiple sclerosis (MS), I have finally gathered the resolve to do so. I have always been a curious person, and my experiences with both specialists and "specialists" in the field of multiple sclerosis would fill a hefty book. Therefore, I decided to split my story into a series of posts, published monthly on the blog.
I have endured a long and difficult battle – in 2017, I was paralysed on my right side with a lack of deep sensation to the point where I couldn't distinguish the shape of objects in my hand, with demyelinating changes in both my brain and spinal cord. And today? - I am almost fully functional ! So... let's begin.
Problems with Diagnosing MS
Who among us doesn’t know the pain of the spine, particularly in the lumbar region, known as the so-called "sciatica"? There are certainly many lucky ones for whom this is unfamiliar, but unfortunately, I was not one of them. Of course, avoiding doctors my whole life, I somehow always "got through" it. Only years later did I learn from an article by Prof. Dr. hab. Sławomir Pancewicz that
“nerve roots, due to the lack of the epineurium, do not have a blood-nerve barrier in the intravertebral section – which allows spirochetes to settle within them after spreading through the bloodstream. The clinical picture most often corresponds to asymmetric damage to many roots but can also mimic symptoms of classic sciatica or femoral neuralgia due to discopathy.”
A reward for anyone who heard this from a doctor when reporting back pain. This is just one of the many examples I will cite in my story about how, for instance, a bacterium in the body can mislead a doctor into quickly classifying a patient as having MS...
The Beginning of the Fight Against the Disease
Where did I start my return to health? With supplementation. By reading medical literature, both contemporary and that which has been withdrawn from medical schools for students, I knew that the first step was to replenish vitamins in the body and supplement other substances in the right proportions.
I deepened my knowledge from the literature of authors such as Abram Hoffer,Dr. Frederic R. Klenner, and Dr. Cicero Coimbra from Brazil, where I began supplementing vitamin D3 under the supervision of a doctor from his clinic.
The compositions of the supplements I took were developed with the collaboration of neurologists, pharmacists, and other neurology specialists. I had to be sure that what I was supplementing was of the highest quality and pharmaceutical purity, so I started sourcing everything from manufacturers and laboratories that cooperate with and supply the best pharmaceutical companies. This is how the Innovisense brand was born.
With my post, I also want to answer the many people who ask me: “Why Innovisense?”
,,Because Innovisense supplements were created for me, and I have personally experienced that they work."
Let's go back to 2015 and the first subtle symptoms, but still fully functional...
To be continued next month.
